College Football is BACK! Week 0
Well week 0 came and went! Nebraska didn’t show up until it was too late. UCLA and Fresno State made somewhat impressive statements out of their week 0 matchups with the Rainbow Warriors and Huskies. A small part of me wants to take a 3 point underdog UCLA in week 1 at home against LSU. If you just look at the 44-10 Final it might be easy to think UCLA is back! Major drawback for that week 1 underdog pick lies within an important stat: 3rd down conversions. UCLA was 4/12 on third down, against Hawaii, and 1/2 on 4th down. A three point road favorite isn’t much for an LSU team that is a few years (and many players) removed from a championship, but I expect their D to be a bit better than the Rainbow Warriors.
